The Ardmore Police Department now has Rapid DNA technology that can process DNA evidence in about 90 minutes instead of weeks. Introduced through a partnership with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the system helps investigators generate faster leads and improves response times for victims and law enforcement. Ardmore was chosen as the second Oklahoma agency with the technology because nearby departments can also use it.
